She has over 12 years clinical experience in Acupuncture having ran a very successful Acupuncture clinic in Galway. She completed a three-year Diploma in Acupuncture from the Lansdowne College of Acupuncture Dublin in 2010 and completed a post graduate Acupuncture programme in Nanjing, China working in collaboration with Western medicine.

Sandra is here to help you achieve your optimal health through Acupuncture in an Integrative evidence-based clinic. Her knowledge and experience of Western medicine while working as a Critical Care Nurse for over 15 years, allows her to provide comprehensive treatment plans that address the root cause of your health concerns. Sandra is dedicated in providing safe, compassionate and confidential care and committed to staying up to date with the latest research and techniques in acupuncture, always looking for new ways to improve client outcomes.

Sandra began her career studying Nursing in St. Angela’s Sligo and then studying Critical Care Nursing in Thames Valley University London.

Sandra had an interest in pharmacology and diversified her career by working for a large pharmaceutical company managing the northwest region of Ireland.  Her role was to educate General Practitioners, Practice Nurses, and Pharmacists on our pharmaceutical products.

She then completed a six-month course with merit in Naturopathic Nutrition with the Institute of complimentary and integrative medicine (ICIM) to educate herself and others on the importance of food as a type of natural medicine.

Sandra discovered the benefits of Chinese medicine and Acupuncture in the aftermath of a road traffic accident. She achieved fast pain relief from a neck injury and debilitating migraines, and within weeks returned to optimal health. Sandra was so impressed from the success of treatment that she was compelled to study Acupuncture and Chinese medicine an eastern medical system as a more comprehensive holistic medical system. She loves what she does and is grateful to be able to share her knowledge, experience, and expertise to help clients resolve symptoms of acute and chronic illnesses and restore clients to optimal health. Her goal is to improve the health and quality of life in the community, and to share the benefits of Acupuncture with as many as possible.

Sandra has relocated to Strandhill with her husband and their two girls. She enjoys exploring and running through the beautiful landscape, practicing yoga, Qi gong and leading a healthy balanced lifestyle. Most of all she is so grateful to be a part of an amazing welcoming community.
