20HR – Mantra, Tantra & Non-dual Philosophy

with Jenny Ní Ruiséil

Saturday 8th & Sun 9th August 2026

At Kindred Studios, Strandhill, Sligo.

Explore the foundations of non-dual tantric philosophy through the pathways of somatic yoga, basic neurocellular patterns, mantra, meditation and Bhakti.

This weekend will be a deep-dive into non-dual tantric philosophy; an ancient tradition which attunes us to the alive, awake, aware reality that pulses through every moment.

Tantra understands that what we call the 'I-Self' is really just a series of patterns organised around our past experiences, expressing themselves endlessly into the now.

Yoga is a system designed to help us identify & integrate behavioural & thought patterns that contribute to suffering, & take action to shift them to an experience of Life that invites more freedom; freedom in body, mind, movement, our relationship to Life and the land we live on.

Together these pathways combine to create a layered roadmap back into a way of living that inspires deep reverance and belonging.

Using somatic yoga, pranayama, mantra & meditation as methods through which these teachings can be felt and experienced in the body/mind system, this weekend is an opportunity to explore these concepts through an experiential immersion into deep listening and embodied understanding.

Over the weekend, we will:

-Compare and contrast non-dual tantric teachings with classical yoga philosophy, and explore how threads of both can be woven into somatic and meditative practice to create a cohesive, embodied experience.

-Engage in deep listening, vocal practice & embodied movement to familiarize ourselves with the fundamental ground of awareness that sits beneath all pattern and structural expression of form.

-Come into relationship with mantra as both a tool for expression, healing and as direct line of contact to the modes of perception presented in the texts

-Culminate with a KIRTAN practice to offer all of it back to the larger field of devotional resonance that surrounds us.

This is a space where we get to explore all the ways that Aliveness unfolds through and as us; through the movement of our limbs and longings; through the urges, felt senses and curiosities that propel us forwards into each next impending moment.

Leaning on the wisdom of sages, devotion to the Goddess, and our own flesh bodies; we gather in to inquire and embody what it means to live closer to the Truth of the moment. Coming back in and down, in and down; time and time again - as many times as it takes.
