Blending ancient practice with modern nervous system understanding, West Sound School offers immersive, embodied training designed to help you confidently explore, experience, and facilitate sound healing.

More Than Learning Instruments
At the West Sound School, we believe sound training is about more than just instruments. It’s about learning to work with sound intentionally, understanding its impact on the body and mind, and developing the confidence to share it with others.
Our three-level training pathway has been designed to support you from your first steps into sound healing through to advanced practitioner training, combining knowledge, experience, and hands-on learning along the way.

Level 1
The fundamentals & history of sound healing, Himalayan bowls, origins & beginner techniques.
How to confidently choose and work with your own bowls & chimes.
Listening practices and the power of deep listening
Beginners’ sound bath composition. Group work and practical exercises throughout the training

Refining your practice and deepening your confidence.
Level Two expands your understanding of holding space, energetic awareness, group facilitation, and creating immersive experiences through sound.

Do I need musical experience?
No. This training is suitable for complete beginners.
Do I need my own singing bowl?
No. Instruments will be available during training.
Is this accredited?
Yes, the training is accredited by CMA.
Can I jump straight to level 3?
No, the course must be completed in succession starting with level 1.
About Emma West
Emma West is the founder of West Sound & Wellness, an Irish wellness brand rooted in the transformative power of sound.
Described as one of Ireland’s leading sound bath facilitators, Emma has spent the past six years sharing sound healing through weekly sound baths, workshops, retreats, and wellness events across the country.
With a lifelong connection to sound, Emma’s journey began long before discovering sound healing. Today, her work is centred on creating safe, nurturing spaces where people can pause, reconnect with themselves, and return to a sense of inner harmony.
Through West Sound & Wellness, Emma offers sound baths, sound healing products, and the West Sound School, a three-level training pathway for those who feel called to learn, practise, and eventually share sound healing with others.
Her hope is that through sound, people can access a deeper sense of rest, connection, and trust in the wisdom of their own body.
Cancellation policy
Weekly Studio classes: Cancellations must be done 12 hours prior to class start time, through our booking system. Cancellations after this time will still be charged. Cancellations must be made through our booking system Momence. Cancellations/Amendments sent in by email/Social Media are not valid and you will still be charged.
Workshops/Events/Retreats/Courses/Trainings: We do not offer refunds or credit for workshops, events, courses, retreats or trainings. All purchases are final. However, if you can no longer attend, you may transfer your space for free to another person by emailing hello@kindredstudios.ie at least 24 hours prior to the event start time.
